Brother Rick likes a place to throw his car key's and wallet when he's on a boat. He's helped a bunch on this project so he gets a Glove Box. This is 3 days worth of work. Doesn't look like much, but most of the time is spent waiting on epoxy to dry. The 1/2 Marine ply was encapsulated on the back side and a thin layer of glass was laid. The box is 1/4in lauan and when the panels were laying flat, a thin layer of glass and epoxy was laid on them. I trimmed them up and spread a layer of System 3 Quik Fair to fill the weave. I then sanded them and bonded them together with West System G5 5min epoxy to get the box stuck together. I then glass ed the outside to make it solid. I put very small fillets on the inside with 2 to1 bonding putty. I cut the hole in the 1/2in Marine Ply and ran the edges thru the router to radius them. The box was bonded to that panel with G5 again and then epoxy bonding putty fillets with glass over that. I smeared the Quik Fair over everything and sanded it out. The panel is ready to install tomorrow.

I got it all in today. I need to sand the front panel and lay a piece of glass on the face tomorrow. I got it up to 100deg under the tarp today, with just the sun beating down on it.
